# NPU Center for AI and Technology

> The National Parents Union's home for its work on children, artificial intelligence and technology: national parent polling with Echelon Insights, free tools for parents, teachers and Catholic schools, a 16-city parent and youth listening tour, and a tracker of federal bills on AI, screens, kids' privacy and online safety. The National Parents Union represents 1.7 million families and more than 1,800 affiliated organizations in all 50 states, D.C. and Puerto Rico.

Core position: parents want children protected and prepared at the same time. Guardrails, not bans.
